What: A one time, two hour seminar that includes discussion and education about what to expect in college, how to build confidence during the changes, and how to keep emotional balance throughout it all. Summer 2017 dates: 4-6 pm on 06/11/2017 or 7-9 pm on 08/14/2017.

Who: Individuals who are starting college during Fall 2017 and/or parents of future college students. Students/parents do not need to attend together. The seminar will be facilitated by Sarah Souder Johnson, MEd, LPCC. Sarah is a psychotherapist, school counselor, and teacher with experience in clinical and higher education settings.
When: 4-6pm on Sunday, June 11 and 7-9pm on Monday, August 14.
Where: Sentier Psychotherapy
Why: The transition to college is personally and academically challenging. It brings about change for the entire family when one person leaves the nest. Helping students and parents understand what to expect can help alleviate anxiety about all of the transitions happening at once.
Cost: $85 per family. Cost includes content of the seminar, a copy of Surviving and Thriving in College A to Z, additional resource referrals, and light refreshments. Payment is due in full at the time of registration. Refunds will be issued with a minimum of 72 hours notice.
