Who: This group is for individuals between the ages of 18-25 who are in the emerging adulthood stage of life. People in emerging adulthood face unique challenges such as increased independence, new living situations, new jobs, and other transitions. Facilitator may consider individuals outside of this age range based on the prospective client’s current life situation.
What: Group members will learn about the modules of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and build skills in the areas of mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance.
When: This group is currently suspended.
Where: This group is simultaneously offered at Sentier Psychotherapy, centrally located in Highland Park, St. Paul and online.
Why: DBT skills help individuals stay present, manage extreme emotions, improve relationships, and decrease behaviors that are having a negative impact in their lives. Learning and applying DBT skills can improve clients' relationships and overall sense of well-being.

Group Facilitator: Andrea Schroeder, MS, LPCC
Fees: Group cost is $50 for the Intake session and $75 per group meeting. Sliding fee available. Superbills are provided for all group members and are particularly helpful for those who would like to submit to HSA, flex accounts, or insurance providers for out-of-network reimbursement. Therapist may be able to submit out of network insurance claims if requested following payment.
