Lily Ferreira

MSW, LICSW, RPT
(She/Her)

Lily believes that one of the most necessary pieces of therapy is feeling seen and understood, so finding the right therapist for you and your child is an important step toward healing. Lily’s goal is to help you and your child get past stuck points to establish a sense of well-being. She does this by creating a space where you can work through the tough stuff while saving room for playfulness and joy. Lily uses a blend of play, family work, and child-centered therapies to facilitate exploration, skill building, growth, and healing.

Lily has experience working with children and adults across the lifespan. Most recently, Lily worked with children ages 5-12 as a clinical school social worker. Having spent the last few years of her career in schools, Lily is keenly aware of the concerns affecting children and families. She is drawn toward helping caregivers and children establish secure and trusting relationships. As a play therapist, Lily is well-versed in treating children experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, behavioral challenges, family transitions, and attachment difficulties.

Lily is actively involved in the Twin Cities play therapy community and welcomes any opportunity to volunteer with animals. She is the proud cat parent of two adorable and opinionated felines: Alfie and Amelia Bedelia. When not working, Lily can be found walking around one of Minnesota’s beautiful lakes, enjoying a latte, or working on a never-ending list of craft projects.
